was incorporated in 1988 by sisters Donna Dobo and Sharon Edelmeier, who began designing a line of play capes for their own preschoolers.

But capes were just the beginning! It wasn’t long before families, preschools, daycares, play therapists and other child-centred businesses were stocking their dressup boxes with Just Imagine’s fantastic dramatic playwear. Now the costumes are sourced from all over the world to bring the current trends into Just Imagine's shops first year round.

In 2005, Donna expanded to a gorgeous new custom designed space complete with a performance stage and vintage theatre seating. Just Imagine is now centrally located on West Broadway and has become known as Vancouver’s only family friendly costume shop with sizes for the whole family.
